Amin Saberi is a Professor of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. He received his B.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests focus on the design and analysis of algorithms and their applications in economics, market design, and machine learning. He is a recipient of the Terman and Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, along with best paper awards from leading conferences such as the IEEE Symposium on Foundations of Computer Science (FOCS), the ACM-SIAM Symposium on Discrete Algorithms (SODA), the Conference on Web and Internet Economics (WINE), and the Test of Time Award at the ACM Conference on Economics and Computation (EC). Amin was also the founding CEO and chairman of NovoEd Inc., a social learning platform used by universities, non-profits, and for-profit institutions to offer courses to hundreds of thousands of learners globally.
